Hey World! If you’ve been following me on social media then you know that I had the opportunity to partner with Toyotausa for the 2020 Indianapolis Toyota Entrepreneurial EnTOURage. The mission of this campaign is to amplify black entrepreneurs’ voices in Indianapolis by connecting entrepreneurs and the community. This experience with Toyotausa and Indianapolis Black Chamber of Commerce has been genuinely inspiring. Not only did I connect with black business owners from all over the city, but I was able to cultivate meaningful relationships that will last a lifetime.

During the EnTOURage experience, I drove the 2020 Camry TRD and highlighted the journey of Suzette Sweatt, Co-owner of Sweatt Box Wellness Center. Sweatt is a certified Health and Wellness Coach with a passion for sharing empowerment in authentically loving yourself while practicing self-care via wellness frequently. She is also known as “Indy’s Bounce Lady” and internationally licensed as a Kangoo Jumps instructor for both adults and children. She is also the SweattBouNce Mobile Trailer owner, first of its kind! She drives throughout Indiana, providing fitness one bounce at a time while assisting communities to live a healthier lifestyle.
As soon as we met, there was an instant connection. I knew with Sweatt’s love for fitness and my desire to teach, we would make a great team. Kangoo Jump Boots meets Roller Skating! I interviewed Suzette and learned more about her business and how she prospered during the pandemic.

This was the fifth year of the Toyota Entrepreneurial EnTOURage, and there is usually an in-person event where all the participants would meet and have a roundtable discussion. But due to COVID-19, the roundtable event was on held Zoom as a virtual event. All of the Indy participants connected on a Thursday evening and learned about each other struggles and successes as entrepreneurs. We talked about everything from investing in professional development and how to elevate in today’s uncertain times. A few entrepreneurs even spoke about how COVID-19 has effected their business but not prevented their business.
What’s next?
Even though this activation is over, my work in the community isn’t over. Suzette and I will be creating a fitness class that combines Kangoo Jumps and Roller skating. Not sure what that looks like, check out the video below to get a sneak peek!
